Insurance companies will no longer cover us to skin test every six months in salon and want us to skin test every appointment with each chosen colour. This is not possible for most of our guests and difficult for stylists as they may want to change your colour choices on the day. Colourstart not only allows us to avoid this but it is an approved, safe way to protect our guests going forward and the best part about it, is that it only has to be done once (unless your medical circumstances change) . Colourstart have their own revolutionary passport system that allows you to go to any salon of your choice in the UK and worldwide to have your colour done and all you have to do is show them your passport on your Colourstart app to book your appointment. No new patch test required. This will cover all colour brands. You could even have a walk in appointment at a new salon which would have never been possible before. COLOUR CONSULTATION If you are unsure of what you need to book in for, or want to change your hair colour and currently have colour in your hair, please contact us to discuss your needs to ensure that the correct amount of time and service is booked out for your appointment.
BOOK CORRECTLY We have different prices for different services depending on the stylist level, product usage and time taken. Please be sure to book for the correct service for your hair. Eg; If you have thick curly hair and book in for a fine curly cut, this will not give us the time we need to cater for your service. We will not be able to change this on the day and you may need to book for a future appointment and loose your deposit. Here is a guide;
Fine curly hair - Shoulder length or above, dries quickly, needs very little product. Medium curly hair - Any length above bra strap, medium density, dries moderately, not heavy and does not need weight removed. Thick curly hair - Can be short or long, thick to touch, takes a long time to dry, uses a lot of product and hard to tame. Half head or full head of highlights - If you are new to highlights, book in for a full head then you can have the option to alternate between a full and half head in the future. If you have had high-lights before, take a look at the underneath and see how long the regrowth is. If it is more than a couple of inches we would recommend a full head. TREATMENTS Many of our guests love to book in for an Olaplex treatment with their colour service. Please be aware that if you do not book in the treatment, we will not be able to add this service on for you on the day. To see our treatment menu and learn why they are so amazing please click here CANCELLATIONS As a courtesy to our service providers, we kindly ask that you provide 48 hours notice for any amendments or cancellations to your bookings. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the cost of treatment unless we are able to fill your appointment.
BOOKING FEE We take a 50% booking fee for all of our services. If you would like to change your appointment time or cancel please give us 48 hours notice in order to retain your booking fee.
